Acceptly is a college planning workbench operated by Bobby Mohs ("we," "us," "Acceptly"). The product is available at acceptly.cc.
By creating an account or using the product, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Acceptly.
Acceptly is intended for high school juniors and seniors in the U.S. (typically ages 14–18) and their parents or guardians. If you are under 13, please do not create an account.
Acceptly is a tool that helps you organize and think about your college applications. It includes:
The free tier is genuinely free and does not expire. Paid tiers ("Pro," "Family") are advertised on the splash page but are not yet activated. Until billing is wired up, all signups receive the equivalent of full Pro access during early access. When billing launches, we will not auto-charge anyone; you will explicitly opt in.
Don't use Acceptly to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
You own what you enter in Acceptly (your profile, essays, college list). By using the product, you give us permission to store and process that content in order to run the service. We do not claim any ownership of your essays or other work product.
Acceptly is provided "as is." We don't warrant that the product will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the information it surfaces is 100% accurate. We make a sincere effort, but college data changes constantly, and AI advisors can be wrong. Use Acceptly as one input, not as the only input.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, our liability to you for any claim arising out of using Acceptly is limited to (a) what you've paid us, if anything, in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) $100, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including but not limited to admissions decisions, lost opportunities, or emotional distress related to the application process.
If we change anything material in these terms, we'll email registered users at least 14 days before the change takes effect. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator resides, without regard to conflicts-of-law principles.
